About Me

I write regularly in the mind-body field and research health trends that consider alternative approaches to maintaining well-being. Health care is changing fast and 70% of Americans annually seek out and pay for for non-conventional solutions. My writing highlights an approach that is gradually gaining traction among providers and the public: the connection between consciousness and health. I connect the dots with experts and trends and show how a change in thought through a spiritual approach to living improves health without drugs or invasive treatments.

For the last ten years I worked as an editor for the Christian Science Publishing Society for a website and a weekly magazine that reported on spirituality and health. In addition to my writing, I help the public find solutions through prayer as a Christian Science practitioner and I’m also a legislative advocate for spiritual healing in Massachusetts.

Look for my weekly syndicated blog, “Health Conscious” on Metrowest Daily News, a Gatehouse Media publication.

I live with my family in the Boston area where I enjoy whipping up nutritious meals and hiking the trails at our nearby state park.

  1. I just saw your blog and CNN feed courtesy of Eric Nelson’s facebook posting. I had no idea you were doing such great things out in MA! I enjoyed your work with the Sentinel. I look forward to seeing more of your postings.

    Keep up the good work!
